HOW DOES IT WORK ?
This face cover offers protection in three ways:

Everybody is unique and no face shape is the same therefore we created our face covering in different sizes and lengths, for example, if your face shape is small and oval/round/heart shape
a small/medium size is recommended.
What is Propolis?
Propolis is a complex mixture made by bee-released and plant-derived compounds. In general, raw propolis is composed of around 50% resins, 30% waxes, 10% essential oils, 5% pollen, and 5% of various organic compounds
Propolis and its extracts have numerous applications in treating various diseases due to its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, antimitotic, antifungal, antiulcer, anticancer, and immunomodulatory properties
It was utilised by ancient Greek and Egyptian civilizations for everything from fighting infections to treating abscesses.
Its literal Greek translation is ‘in front of the city’ – the bees recognised that and they used to protect bee colonies from the elements.

How it works ? The science behind the mask
The face cover consists into three layers, one of its being a propolised filter.
Propolis is a substance made by the bees from tree and plant resins collected by bees and mixed with their enzymes .
Propolis word comes from the Greek language and it means: " Defender of the city,"
The bees use Propolis to kill and protect their hives from any pathogens by coating their hives with this substance resulting in a sterile environment thanks to its antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties.
With this model in mind, the proposed filter face covering was designed to protect you as bees protect their hive.
The second way how the propolis filter protects you is by inhalation of Propolis particles.
SARS-CoV2 human to human transition occurs through contact with mucous membranes of the month, nose and eyes, considering the mode of transmission and pathogenesis,Propolis inhalation is an effective way to prevent viral activity because
it affects directly the sites of viral accumulation: respiratory system.Once a virion ( a single virus cell) gets attached to the human host cell in the mucus,it will replicate and reproduce itself occurring into an infection.
If propolis particles are present, the highly active flavonoids like Chrysine and Kaempfoul will inhibit the replication :
reducing intracellular replication activity contributes to suppress the growth of the virus.
This process stops some specific enzymes disabling virus capacity to synthesise their RNA or DNA
The third-way Propolis has antiviral properties is by being an immune system booster,
Propolis contains Bioflavonoids and Poliphenoids that support the immune system to reduce oxidative stress
